April 22-26

10 English
Students wrote an essay for evaluation of their writng skills in class on Monday,  The rest of the week we will be performing Twelfth Night. After each scene, students will be writing in their journals, to be marked for reading comprehension and writing skills.  Wednesday, Students will be participating in a Beyond the Hurt session.

11-2/3 History
This week students will be examining the years of 1880-1914--what led up to World War I.  By the end of the week, we shall be learning about the War itself, and some of the major battles of the war, especially ones in which Canada had a significant role.

12-0 Canadian Geography
Students will continue studying and discussing Government and how it works.  We shall examine the process by which laws are made, and have a look at the make-up of Cabinet, both Provincially and Federally.  We also shall look at the salaries of elected and appointed government officials.  There will be a quiz and test this week on immigration and settlement patterns, and cities of Canada.
